# Voice tab

The **Voice tab** starts a live WebRTC voice session with Conrad and Ms. Morgan — GRID42's voice instructors. It's available on paid tiers; free accounts see an upgrade prompt instead.

## Starting a voice session

Tap the Voice tab icon in the dock. The dock expands into a full-height takeover — the face tab content pauses in the background.

Voice works best with headphones. Your browser will ask for microphone permission the first time.

## Ending a session

A bail-out tabbar is pinned at the top of the screen throughout the call. Tap it and select **End session** to return to the face tabs. The cubelet resumes exactly where you left it.

## Tier gate

The Voice tab is available on **Professional** and above. If you're on a free account, the tab shows an upgrade prompt. See Plans & upgrades for details.
