# Coach tab

The **Coach tab** opens the Coaching Room scoped to the cubelet you're reading. It's the same AI tutor available from the **⌘K / Rooms** button in the header — but here it's pre-loaded with this cubelet's domain context, so you don't have to explain what you're studying.

## What coaching looks like

Open the Coach tab and try a prompt like:

* "Walk me through this concept step by step"
* "What should I study next after this?"
* "I'm confused about the WHY face — can you explain it differently?"

Coach responds with structured guidance and follow-up questions, not just answers. It's better suited to learning sequences than to single-question lookups (use the Ask tab for those).

## Relationship to the header Coaching Room

The header **⌘K → Coaching Room** and the dock's Coach tab use the same underlying room. The dock version is scoped to the current cubelet automatically; the header version starts with a broader context.
