# Ask tab

The **Ask tab** lets you ask questions about the cubelet you're currently reading. It's connected to that cubelet's content — not a general-purpose chatbot.

## When to use Ask vs Coach

* **Ask** for quick, one-off clarifications — "What does this term mean?" or "Can you give an example of this?"
* **Coach tab** for a guided sequence — "Walk me through this concept step by step"

## Starter prompts

The Ask tab opens with a set of starter prompts matched to the current cubelet. You can tap one directly or type your own question in the input below.

Responses are grounded in the cubelet's content. If you ask something outside its scope, Ask will say so rather than hallucinate an answer.
