# Reading a Cubelet

*What you see and do once you open a Cubelet.*

## The six faces

A Cubelet breaks one skill or control into six angles, called faces. Open a Cubelet from the Catalog and you land on the **WHAT** face. Across the top is a row of tabs: **🎬 STITCH** (a short overview), then the five faces — **📜 WHAT**, **💡 WHY**, **⚙️ HOW**, **🗺️ WHERE**, **🕐 WHEN**. Each covers the same topic from a different angle: what it is, why it matters, how to do it, where it applies, and when.

The sixth face, **APPLY**, isn't a tab — it's a separate action below the content: **"06 · APPLY — Judgment simulator — test your reasoning — Start →"**. This is where reading turns into practice: instead of another passage, it launches a scored simulator that tests whether you can apply the judgment yourself.

As you read, the **Workspace dock** sits alongside the face tabs — open the Ask or Coach tab to get help without leaving the page. See Your Workspace for a full walkthrough.

## Your mastery score

Next to the content, a widget reads **MASTERY 0%** / **PRACTICE TO BEGIN**. It tracks your odds of getting the next judgment on this concept right, updated after each attempt — like a checkride score that climbs with practice.

## Opening your Library

The **⊞ Library** button in the top bar opens a sheet called **Library** — your curriculum, in one place. It shows a chip for each framework you're entitled to, a line like "CMMC L2 · 0 mastered · 110 remaining," and your Cubelets grouped by topic with a status on each one (in progress, next, or locked). Use it to jump straight to what's next without going back to the Catalog.

## When content says "still being prepared"

Occasionally you'll open a Cubelet and see **"This content is still being prepared"** instead of the six faces. That's the same quality gate at work: this particular Cubelet hasn't yet cleared the 42-out-of-60 quality minimum, so it's held back rather than shown half-finished. Check back later, or pick another Cubelet in the meantime.
