# CMMC Assessment

*The consulting-delivery MCP server for CMMC Level 2 engagements.*

## Purpose

CMMC Assessment is the delivery-side counterpart to CMMC Catalyst. Catalyst is oriented toward CMMC knowledge and reference use; Assessment is oriented toward consulting delivery — running an assessment for a client engagement.

## Who it's for

Developers and AI agents supporting CMMC consulting engagements — driving an assessment workflow for a specific client rather than looking up reference content in isolation.

## Tools

CMMC Assessment shares its underlying tool family with CMMC Catalyst: `cmmc_domain_get`, `cmmc_gap_analysis`, `cmmc_coach_recommend`, `cmmc_sprs_score`, `cmmc_poam_generate`, `cmmc_evidence_guide`, and `cmmc_readiness_report` (see the CMMC Catalyst page for what each tool does). Catalyst's role is knowledge and reference; Assessment's role is consulting delivery — running the assessment workflow for a live client engagement.

## Relationship to the manufacture server

As with CMMC Catalyst, CMMC-domain cubelet content is studied via the manufacture server (`https://manufacture.cubelet.ai/mcp`), not through Assessment. Assessment adds the consulting-delivery layer — gap analysis, scoring, and reporting for a live engagement — on top of the same underlying CMMC competency data that the manufacture server serves as cubelets.
