# CMMC Level 2

## What you'll learn

CMMC Level 2 covers the security practices required of Department of Defense contractors, drawn from NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 3 and the CMMC Level 2 Assessment Guide. The path is organized into domains — Access Control alone has 22 cubelets — adding up to 110 cubelets across the full CMMC Level 2 path.

Find it in the Catalog by clicking the **CMMC Level 2** filter chip, or start from your **In Progress** page, where the CMMC Level 2 card tracks how many of the 110 cubelets you've started.

## How you practice

Every CMMC cubelet opens on an intro tab, then presents its content across five faces — WHAT, WHY, HOW, WHERE, WHEN. Below the video sit two practice actions:

* **Practice this judgment** — an adaptive drill, about 8 minutes.
* **Sit in the practitioner's chair** — a live simulator built on the same control.

The sixth face, APPLY, isn't a tab next to the other five — it's the dedicated **06 · APPLY — Judgment simulator** button, which tests your reasoning on the specific control you just studied.

## Access
